Residential
Cotton Street

It is often a misconception that specifying a ground source heating system for a building project requires extensive exterior space in which to drill the bore hole. This installation, by Encompas in South West Scotland, illustrates that ground source heating systems are ideal even for the smallest of plots. It just needs commitment and good design at the planning stage.

Lower Howsell Road

A detached new build in Worcestershire has benefited from an Encompas installed integrated underfloor heating and heat pump system. The project entailed 155m² of underfloor heating served by a NIBE fighter 1240 8Kw single phase ground source heat pump using 3 bore holes of 60m, 75m and 96m depth. The heat pump incorporates a fully integrated 160-litre double-jacket hot water tank, which is insulated with polyurethane foam to minimise heat loss.

Arnold Clark Showroom

Encompas has completed the largest underfloor heating and heat pump technology project ever undertaken. A vast new motor store, designed by Glasgow based Opfer Logan architects, built for Arnold Clark near Stafford, with space inside and outside for some 900 cars.
The £15 million showroom covers an area of 4,600 square metres and it was the laying of underfloor piping for the purpose of both heating and cooling the showroom that was one of the most important elements of the work.

Cold Springs Park Residential Home is in Penrith and we have provided underfloor heating, insulation and screed for an extension.
